Bidder guide

Payment and collection

What successful bidders should expect after an auction, including invoices, collection, and storage questions.

If you are successful, the auction team or bidding platform will issue an invoice and explain the payment deadline, accepted payment method, collection location, and required documents. The published terms state that full payment is due within 48 hours after the auction closes or the invoice is received, as applicable to the sale.

VAT, commission, and other charges apply as stated in the auction catalogue. Late payments and collections are publicly stated to incur a storage fee of R300 per day per item. Collection starts only after payment has been confirmed, and the published terms require original ID, proof of residence, and company registration documents where applicable.

The published collection rules state that collection is between 09:00 and 15:00 and that vehicles must be towed from the yard rather than driven away.
